Get these two advanced Gage R&R files:
- compare the Average + Range method to the ANOVA method in this one template. The second worksheet of this Excel file has all the calculations needed to determine R&R using the ANOVA method. You can follow it all (because all formulas are visible and trackable) - so this is a great learning tool to understand what you're doing when using an inbuilt ANOVA functionality in any statistical software package (and just a very useful file to have for any Gage R&R study you want to do)
- an expanded version of the basic Gage R&R template, this file allows comparing up to 7 operators and 5 trials (still up to 15 parts, because you really don't need more). It uses only the Average + Range method, because 'manual' ANOVA for such a number of samples requires a huge spreadsheet
